In this video, we pull the 352 V8 engine out of the 1955 Packard, The Patrician, strip it, clean it, mask it, and paint it
This video shows how we restore / refinish / rebuild the power steering pump, an Eaton 2R2 in the 1955 Packard, The Patrician.
The pump is disassembled and resembled with replacement of the Ball Bearing, Ball Bearing Seal, and all the O-rings
We install a new Crankshaft Seal into the 352 V8 engine in the 1955 Packard in this video
The twist was the original seal was a rope seal and the new seal in the Engine Gasket kit was a modern seal.
We had no idea what the conversion process would be as there were no instructions.
Turned out it was no big deal. New seal replaces the rope seal.
