1949 Chevrolet Gasser Progress 2012 03 01 DSCN0475   Well Arthur has been hard at work finishing up the chassis so that the body can be dropped on for the next class.

Take a close look at the welds. Arthur has promised to teach me how to weld when he returns from sunny South Dakota.

 1949 Chevrolet Gasser Progress 2012 03 01 DSCN0453   The fronts of the four link brackets have been “Boxed” with half round pipe both for strength and looks.

This modification was inspired by Elton Roundhill.
